Onam
Onam Onam is a harvest festival in Kerala. Onam marks the first month of the Malayalam calendar known as Chingam. Onam is celebrated by people with varied activities, Vallam Kali (boat race), Pullikali (tiger dance), Pookkalam (flower Rangoli) .On the f irst day of Onam or Uthradom, traditional meals are prepared.
