  Onam Onam is a harvest festival in Kerala.  Onam marks the first month of the Malayalam calendar known as Chingam.  Onam is celebrated by people with varied activities,  Vallam Kali (boat race), Pullikali (tiger dance), Pookkalam (flower Rangoli) .On the f irst day of Onam or Uthradom,  traditional meals are prepared.  On 21 August it is celebrated as  Thiruonam, People prepare the  Onam Sadhya  the feast is known   as  Onam  Sadhya.Onam   Sadhya includes Pappadam(pappad),Upperi(banana chips), Sharkara Varatti(Banana chips dipped in jaggery), Inji Curry(Ginger, Tamarind And jaggery curry), Pachadi( yogurt-based dish for the feast), Olan(Ashgourd and red beans with coconut milk ), Ellisheri(a   dish with pumpkin, red beans, and a generous amount of grated coconut), Avial(Mixed vegetable dish), Chor(rice), Parippu Curry( moong dal is topped with ghee),   Chenna Mezhkkupuratti(Yam chips), Sambar(an essential item ...

COVID -19

                                                                                                 Coronavirus is a virus that affects the lungs. It is also called COVID-19'. This virus was first found in Wuhan province in China in the year 2019, thus its name. The virus appears to have originated in Wuhan's seafood market where bats, marmots, and wild animals were sold.  This was the time of the year when the Chinese abroad had come back to their country to celebrate their New Year. Holi Celebration

Today I enjoyed playing Holi with my friends...I was very wet but it was fun. There were water balloons, water guns, and many other things. there were fewer people this time as the coronavirus passed through. the day before the day we celebrate Holi the Holika darshan is celebrated that night.it is a fun festival for kids.
